His elusive movements suggests that he is not used to the attention of the visitor zones as he moves at night. But with a highly unusual coat pattern, he will be hard to mistake.
Jobhi Male is completely new to Tiger Nation, first appearing out of the blue on Charkawan Dam in the Maghdi zone on the 3rd of March, 2012.
We know nothing of his background, but he does bear a striking resemblance to Shaki though his coat pattern is different to anything that has been seen in the areas frequented by visitors in the reserve over the last quarter century.
Has he come in from the Kalwah range? The Forest Department has always maintained that there are tigers in Kalwah, but visitors are not allowed to visit parts of these areas.
Jodhi appears to have been the reason that Shaki has now left the Magdhi zone.
